Create a flowchart
Generate a flowchart with AI in a Diagram frame on your MockFlow board, then edit its shapes, connectors and steps.
A flowchart shows the steps of a process and the decisions between them. In MockFlow you draw one in a Diagram frame on the board: describe the process, and AI lays out the start, steps, decisions and connectors for you.

Generate a flowchart with AI
Click Frames in the toolbar at the bottom of the board and choose Diagram.
Click the AI button on the left of the frame's toolbar and choose Generate diagram.
Describe the process, for example "Support ticket flow with a priority check".
Click the send button. The flowchart appears in the frame, and the frame takes its name.
Name the decisions you want in the prompt, such as "check payment" or "approved or rejected". AI turns each one into a decision shape with labeled branches.
Edit shapes and connectors
Everything in the flowchart stays editable.
To | Do this |
|---|---|
Change a step's text | Double-click the shape and type. |
Restyle a shape | Select it and use its toolbar for fill, border and font. |
Connect two shapes | Select a shape and drag one of its blue arrows to another shape. |
Add a shape | Select the frame, click Library and drag a shape into the frame. |
Move a step | Drag the shape. Its connectors follow. |
Change the flow with AI
To add, remove or rearrange steps, describe the change instead of redrawing it.

Select the Diagram frame by its name label.
Click the AI button and choose Modify with AI.
Describe the change, for example "Add a satisfaction survey step after Resolve Ticket", and click the send button.
Export the flowchart
Select the frame and click Export Diagram in its toolbar to save the flowchart as an image.
Diagram frames are available on every plan, including Basic. Generating and modifying with AI uses AI credits. See MockFlow pricing.
