Give teammates a license by email from User licenses, and see what they receive and when their license becomes active.

Updated 9 Oct 20261 min read

The license owner and License Admins can give a license to anyone by email. The person gets an email, accepts the license, and their account moves to your plan, so they can create boards, wireframes and diagrams with the rest of the team.

Typing a teammate's email in User licenses, clicking Upgrade and the teammate appearing as pending

Add a teammate by email

The email field and the Upgrade button in User licenses
  1. Click your name at the bottom of the workspace sidebar and choose User licenses.

  2. Type the person's email address in the field (1). To add several people at once, separate the addresses with commas.

  3. Click Upgrade (2).

The person appears in the list marked pending until they accept, and the Assigned licenses count goes up by one.

If every license is already assigned, MockFlow says so. The license owner can add more with Purchase licenses, as described in Manage your subscription.

What the invited person receives

  • If they already have a MockFlow account, they get an email saying a license was assigned to their account. The next time they sign in, MockFlow asks them to accept it.

  • If they are new to MockFlow, the email has a link to sign up. They accept the license when they first sign in.

What they see when they accept is described in Join a team license.

Add a license while sharing a space

When you share a space with someone who has no license and you have one free, MockFlow asks whether to assign it to them. Choose OK to add them to your license in the same step.
