Fathom Call to Empathy Map

customer researchuser interviewsempathy map

This Fathom call to empathy map automation turns a finished customer call into an empathy map on a MockFlow board. When a meeting recording is ready in Fathom, MockFlow reads that meeting's notes and lays out what the customer says, thinks, does and feels, using their own words on sticky notes.

What it does.

From Fathom, when a meeting recording is ready, read that meeting's notes, make an empathy map of the call.

Why teams use it.

It looks at calls that include guests from outside your company, so research and sales calls become something the whole team can read in a minute instead of a recording nobody replays.

Who uses it.

A product team running customer interviews

Each interview ends up as an empathy map with the customer's real quotes, ready to compare across a week of calls.

A designer preparing personas

Empathy maps from several calls give a grounded starting point for a persona workshop.

A founder doing sales calls

Calls with prospects become a quick read on what buyers worry about and what they want.

Questions about Fathom Call to Empathy Map.

What does the empathy map show?
Four areas, Says, Thinks, Does and Feels, with the customer's own words from the call on sticky notes.
Which Fathom calls does it use?
Calls that include guests from outside your company, so internal meetings stay out of it.
What does it read from Fathom?
The finished call: its summary, key quotes, attendees and action items.
Does it use AI credits?
Yes. Each run makes a board with MockFlow AI, which uses AI credits, and MockFlow lets you know when it is ready.
