Codex plugin
Add the plugin to Codex From your Codex terminal run codex plugin marketplace add mockflow/mockflow-codex-plugin, then codex plugin add mockflow@mockflow.
Run the bridge and pair your board Install MockFlow Bridge with npm i -g @mockflow/mockflow-bridge, start mockflow-bridge and enter the pairing code it shows into your open IdeaBoard project.
Watch Codex draw as you talk Ask for a mindmap of your repo or a flowchart of a feature and Codex draws mindmaps, wireframes, flowcharts, architectures and timelines live on your board. Local files it reads stay on your machine, and it spends no MockFlow AI credits — Codex does the thinking, IdeaBoard is the canvas.

Open Claude Settings In Claude Web/Desktop, click on your profile icon and select Settings. Navigate to the Connectors section.
Add New Connector Click the "Add Connector" button to add a new MCP connector
Enter Connector Details Enter the following details: Name MockFlow IdeaBoard MCP URL https://app.mockflow.com/ideaboard/mcp
Save and Connect Click Save to add the connector. The IdeaBoard tools will now be available in your Claude conversations. Start a new chat and ask Claude to create visualizations!
Optional: Connect Your Account For permanent storage of your boards, Claude will prompt you to authorize with your MockFlow account. This saves all generated visualizations to your IdeaBoard dashboard. Without authorization, boards are created as public demo boards.

Install and run the bridge A small program you run on your own computer. Needs Node.js 18 or newer — install it once with npm i -g @mockflow/mockflow-bridge, then start it whenever you want to use it.
Pair it with your board Run mockflow-bridge and enter the pairing code it shows into your open IdeaBoard project.
Let your own AI draw Claude Code, Codex, opencode or the built-in BridgeAI creates diagrams, wireframes, mindmaps, plans and charts on your board while you watch. It uses your AI, so it never spends your MockFlow AI credits, and any local files it reads stay on your machine.
