# Turn on two-factor authentication for your team

> Require a login code sent by email each time someone on your MockFlow license signs in.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second check to every sign in. After entering their password, each person on your license also enters a login code that MockFlow sends to their email, so a stolen password alone is not enough to open your team's boards.

## Turn on two-factor authentication

1. Click your name at the bottom of the workspace sidebar and choose **My Account**.
2. Choose **Security & SSO** in the list on the left.
3. Switch on **Two-factor authentication**.

The setting is saved at once, and MockFlow confirms that 2FA is enabled for all team members. To turn it off, switch it off the same way.

## What your team sees when signing in

From their next sign in, everyone on your license is asked for a login code. MockFlow emails a 6-digit code, and they enter it to finish signing in. See [Create an account and sign in](/docs/create-account-and-sign-in).

## Who can turn on two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication is part of the Max plan with yearly billing and five or more licenses. Only the license owner sees **Security & SSO**. License Admins and Members do not.

To require sign in through your company's identity provider instead, see [Set up single sign-on (SAML)](/docs/set-up-single-sign-on-saml).
