# Turn images and whiteboard photos into a board

> Give Mida a photo of a whiteboard, a screenshot or handwritten notes and it rebuilds them on the board as editable diagrams, wireframes and plans.

The best ideas often start on a whiteboard in a meeting room or on a page of handwritten notes. Take a photo and Mida turns it into editable work on your board: boxes and arrows become a flowchart, a sketched screen becomes a wireframe, and scribbled notes become a structured list, all ready to change and share.

## Turn a whiteboard photo into a board

1. Open Mida and click **+** below the prompt field.
2. Choose **Digitalize Whiteboards** (2) and pick the photo.
3. Say what you want, for example _Turn this whiteboard photo into an editable flowchart_, and press Enter.

Mida reads the drawing, including the handwritten notes beside it, and rebuilds it on the board as a whiteboard of editable shapes, connectors and text. Every box, arrow and note can be moved, restyled or connected like anything else on the board.

## Brainstorm from screenshots, sketches and notes

Choose **Brainstorm Images** (1) to give Mida any other picture: a screenshot of an app, a hand-drawn screen, a diagram from a slide or a page of handwritten notes. Then say what you want from it, for example:

- _Recreate this screen as a wireframe_
- _Turn these notes into a mind map_
- _Redraw this diagram as a cloud architecture diagram_

## Tips for better results

- Take the photo straight on, with the whole drawing in frame and no glare.
- Mention what the drawing is, such as a signup flow or a floor plan, so Mida picks the right component.
- After Mida builds it, ask for changes in the chat, for example _Add a step for password reset_.

## What is not available on the Basic plan

Brainstorm Images and Digitalize Whiteboards are not available on the Basic plan. Turning images, whiteboard photos and documents into boards, along with many other features, such as web search in Mida, are part of Plus and Max. See [MockFlow pricing](https://mockflow.com/pricing/) for details.
