# Privacy and your personal data

MockFlow collects only the personal data it needs to run your account and your boards. This article summarizes what is kept and the choices you have. The [MockFlow privacy policy](https://mockflow.com/legal/privacy) is the full statement.

## What personal data MockFlow keeps

- **Account details:** your name, email address, username and password, which is stored encrypted, and your preferences.
- **Your work:** the boards, spaces, files and comments you create or upload.
- **Billing:** your plan, invoices and billing address. Card payments are processed by Paddle, so card details are handled by Paddle.
- **Sign in and usage:** technical data such as your IP address, browser, time zone and sign in times, used to keep your account secure and improve the service.

## How your data is used

MockFlow uses your data to provide the service: to sign you in, save and sync your boards, process payments and give support. MockFlow also uses it to send messages about your account and, where you allow it, about new features. You can turn off email notifications in your account settings.

MockFlow never uses your data for AI training and never sends it to anyone for that purpose, not even in an anonymized form, on any plan.

## Who processes your data

MockFlow works with a small set of service providers for hosting, backup, payments and analytics:

- **Amazon Web Services** and **MongoDB** host and store your data. See [Where your data is stored and how it is backed up](/docs/where-your-data-is-stored).
- **Paddle** processes payments.
- **AI model providers** process the requests you send to Mida. See [How Mida and AI features handle your data](/docs/how-mida-handles-your-data).

## Your rights over your data

- **Access:** request a copy of the personal data MockFlow holds about you through [MockFlow support](https://support.mockflow.com/contact).
- **Correction:** change your name, email address or password in **My Account**. See [Change your password](/docs/change-your-password).
- **Erasure:** delete your account to remove your account and projects permanently. See [Delete your boards and account data](/docs/delete-your-boards-and-account-data).
