# Invite people to a space

> Share a space with your team, clients or stakeholders, choose each person's role, and manage who has access.

Sharing a space gives people access to every board in it, now and in the future, so you invite a team, a client or a group of stakeholders once instead of board by board. Each person gets a role that sets what they can do. For more on spaces, see [Create and organize spaces](/docs/create-and-organize-spaces).

1. In the workspace sidebar, point to the space, click its settings button and choose **Share space**. The **Share** panel opens.
2. Type one or more email addresses in the invite field (1), separated by commas. As you type, people you have worked with before are suggested, and you can click one to add them.
3. Choose a role for the people you are inviting (2): **Reviewer**, **Editor** or **Admin**.
4. Click **Invite** (3).

Each person receives an email invitation and appears under **Who has access** (4). Only the owner and admins of a space can share it.

## Choose the right role

| Role | What they can do |
| --- | --- |
| Reviewer | View in real time, add feedback and export |
| Editor | Everything a reviewer can do, plus edit in real time |
| Admin | Full rights, including renaming and sharing the space |

The owner of the space is shown as **Owner** and always has full rights. A role applies to every board in the space.

Pricing is per editor: editors use a paid seat, while reviewers are free and unlimited on paid plans. If you are the license owner or a license admin and you invite someone as an editor or admin who does not have a license yet, MockFlow offers to assign one of your vacant licenses to them.

## Change a role or remove someone

In **Who has access**, click a person's role to open their menu:

- **Change role** (1): pick **Reviewer**, **Editor** or **Admin**. The new role applies straight away.
- **Re-send invite** (2): send the email invitation again, for example if it was missed.
- **Remove** (2): take the person out of the space. They lose access to its boards.

## Share a link with members

To point a member to the space, use **Copy link** beside **Copy space link** (5) in the Share panel, or **Copy member link** in the space's settings menu. Only people who have access to the space can open the link, so it is safe to post in a team chat or a ticket.

To let people outside the space view selected boards without signing in, use a public link instead. See the article on sharing a space with a public link.

## Leave a space someone shared with you

If you no longer need a space that was shared with you, open its settings menu and choose **Remove space access**, then click **Remove access**. You lose access to the space and its boards until someone shares it with you again.

## What is not available on the Basic plan

On the Basic plan, you can invite people to your space only as reviewers, and a space can have up to 5 reviewers. Editor and admin roles, unlimited reviewers and many other features, such as sharing by role across spaces and secure view links, are available on Plus and Max. See [MockFlow pricing](https://mockflow.com/pricing/) for details.
