Every team has a way of doing things: the kickoff board an agency opens for each new client, the sprint retro a product team runs every two weeks, the lesson plan a school shares across a year group. Until now, reusing one meant finding the old board and copying it. With **team templates**, you save that board once and everyone in your team can add it to their own boards from **Templates**.

## Save a board or a selection as a template

A team template can be a whole board or only the part you select. Select a client brief section, a wireframe frame and its notes, or a planning table, and only those items are saved. With nothing selected, the whole board is saved.

Everything you save stays as it was: frames, wireframes, tables, kanbans, mind maps, diagrams, images and text, with their layout and styles. When a teammate adds the template, they get real, editable items on their board, not a picture.

## Find and use your team's templates

**Templates** now has two tabs. **MockFlow** holds the templates made by MockFlow, and **Team** holds the ones your team has saved, newest first, with the name of the person who saved each one.

- **Search** the Team tab by template name.
- **Preview** a template to see it full size before you use it.
- **Add to board** places the template at the centre of your view as one undo step, or drag its tile to exactly where you want it.

## How to save and use a team template

1. Open the board you want to reuse. To save only part of it, select those items.
2. Click **Templates** in the toolbar, or press Ctrl + 3 (⌘ + 3 on Mac).
3. Click **Save board as template**. MockFlow shows whether it is saving **Your selection** or **The whole board**, and how many items it holds.
4. Give the template a name, pick a category such as Brainstorm, Meetings and retros, Planning, Research, Education or Marketing, and click **Save template**.
5. The **Team** tab opens with your new template at the top. Teammates see it there straight away.
6. To use it on any board, open **Templates**, choose **Team**, click the template and click **Add to board**.

Only the person who saved a template can delete it: open it from the Team tab and delete it from its preview.

## How teams use team templates

**Agencies and consultancies.** Emma's agency opens the same kickoff board for every new client: goals, stakeholders, a moodboard area and a project timeline. She saves it once, and each account manager adds it to the client's board on day one.

**Software and product teams.** Lucas saves his team's sprint retro, with the voting columns and action table already set up, and the feature spec layout with its user flow and wireframe frames. Every squad runs the same format.

**UX and design.** A design lead saves the team's approved screen set: login, dashboard and settings wireframes with the house components. Designers start each project from screens that already follow the system.

**Education.** Sofia teaches Year 9 science and saves her lesson board with a mind map, a worksheet table and a reflection area. The other teachers in her department add it to their own class boards each term.

**Marketing.** A content team saves its campaign brief and monthly content calendar, so every launch starts with the same channels, owners and dates in place.

**Architecture and interiors.** A studio saves a client briefing board with a floor plan frame, a room checklist and a materials moodboard, ready for the first site visit.

**HR and operations.** People teams save the new starter onboarding board, with a first week plan, a checklist and team introductions, and add it for each new hire.

**Healthcare and services.** A clinic's improvement team saves its patient journey map and process flowchart, so each department maps its own service the same way.
